The Tiny Masters of Today have a new album coming  out next week and we can’t wait! Anyone who havn’t heard  about these Brooklyn based mini-rockers should know that they indeed get it. 14 year old Ivan and 12 year old Ada are super talented and their music is not just for kids.

According to their Myspace page:

Their influences are surprisingly diverse, ranging from the Ramones to Abba, but their inventive writing, arrangements, and playing are uniquely their own. Youth is certainly part of their charm but only to the extent that it contributes to the generally unaffected ambience. Amidst the general youthful exuberance is a refreshingly anti-authoritarian stance which spares nobody, from elementary school cliques to the President of the United States.

Watch Yuto Miyazwa pound the frets! This kid is one of the youngest, fastest guitar players the world has ever seen.

I think this clearly shows the Japanese are way ahead of the U.S.A. in terms of mini-shredders. Wake up America! Get your children started early or we will loose our global standing as shredmeisters. While your children are falling asleep in their Cheerios, Yuto has clearly been planning to dominate the world.

Although he has had a few guitar lessons, the bulk of his expertise comes from truly wanting to play…all the time. Generally, if he is not in school, he has a guitar in his hands. As his videos rack up views on YouTube and Vimeo, and his name is scattered across hundreds of forums and blogs, Yuto Miyazawa is truly the internet’s latest sensation. “

Found this little Rockin’ Tot on YouTube and he blew us away with a note for note Jimmy Page impersonation. Notice the sweet bends and finger work? Not bad for a kid in elementary school!

When I was eight years I had no idea Zeppelin even existed and the only fender in my life was the one on my Huffy.

We’re going to do a little more research on this kid.

I’m Sungha Jung from South Korea. My dream is to become a professional acoustic fingerstyle guitarist. I had been watching my dad play the guitar for awhile before I finally jumped on it myself two years ago. I just turned eleven in September, 2007. Currently, I am taking weekly classical guitar lessons and teaching myself fingerstyle guitar. I used to not have tabs for the music that I played in my videos. I just listen and pick them up directly from the sound source in videos available on the internet. However, recently, I have started playing with original tabs whenever they are available to me by courtesy of the authors. My guitar is custom made to fit my body size, and on it, Thomas Leeb wrote “Keep on grooving to my friend.” I’m very grateful to those prominent guitarists who have had a great influence on my guitar playing. I’ll continue to study them and learn more about interpretation of music and various playing techniques. My daily practice routine lasts for one to two hours when school is open, but I play up to three hours a day during the school breaks. It usually takes me two to three days to practice and videotape a new piece but sometimes up to a week for more difficult ones.
